Ed holds a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Systems Management from the University of Missouri and brings over a decade of experience with the USDA’s research division. During his time with USDA-ARS in Columbia, MO, he contributed to research initiatives focused on increasing agricultural production, promoting sustainability, and reducing environmental impact. Outside his governmental duties, he worked on renovating and flipping homes, as well as managing several rental properties.

Ed offers clients a unique blend of skills with expertise in farmland, waterways, woodlands, and prairies, plus hands-on experience in home rehabilitation. Ed grew up in a small town 50 miles south of St. Louis, where he developed his passion for the outdoors on his family’s property located in Dittmer, MO. There he learned the value of hard work and the strong bond formed with one’s land. Ed currently lives in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, with his girlfriend Lexi and their two dogs. Lexi, a fellow Mizzou graduate, holds a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine and practices at a local animal hospital. During their spare time, Ed and Lexi enjoy hunting, fishing, playing sports, listening to live music, and spending time together with family and friends.
