About Matt Drees

A lifelong resident of Northeast Iowa, Matt takes pride in serving the community where he was raised. Growing up surrounded by livestock operations on both sides of his family, he was immersed in the farming and ranching lifestyle from an early age. This early exposure instilled in Matt a strong work ethic and a deep connection to agriculture and the land, values that have guided him throughout his life.

With over 20 years in the construction industry, Matt brings a wealth of knowledge to his role as a land specialist. Before transitioning to land sales, Matt owned and operated a successful company specializing in custom home building and concrete projects throughout eastern Iowa, with a focus on acreages and agricultural projects. His diverse skill set and dedication to his clients have helped him build lasting relationships, making him a trusted advisor in agricultural and recreational land sales.

Outside of his professional life, Matt enjoys the rewarding lifestyle of living and working on his hobby farm, where he raises a small herd of Red Angus cattle. He values time spent outdoors hunting whitetail and pheasants, fishing, helping his boys and friends with 4-H projects and watching a ball game. Matt cherishes his time with his wife Anna and their three young sons, creating lasting memories while instilling in them a strong sense of family, community and appreciation for the land.
