Schaefer Orwig is a dedicated agricultural professional with extensive experience in land management and cattle operations. Raised on his family’s farm in Indianola, Iowa, where they raise Red Angus cattle and operate a hay production business, Schaefer has a deep-rooted connection to agriculture and the local farming community. He currently lives and manages his own cattle operation on his grandparents’ farm just outside of Russell, Iowa.

A graduate of Iowa State University, Schaefer earned a degree in Agricultural Studies, enhancing his expertise in agricultural business, land management, and the broader agricultural industry.
His academic background, coupled with years of hands-on experience, has made him a trusted expert in the local market.

Schaefer places a strong emphasis on client service and communication, believing that building meaningful relationships and delivering tailored solutions are key to helping clients achieve their
goals. He is committed to ensuring that every client’s needs are met with professionalism and care throughout the buying and selling process.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Schaefer enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Chloe, and their children, Nellie, and Barrett. The family is often found on the farm or enjoying weekends at the lake. An avid outdoorsman, Schaefer is passionate about hunting, working with cattle, and continuously improving the land.
