Growing up, my brother and I would spend every waking minute in the woods behind our house.  There was a small creek running through which was an endless source of entertainment for us.  We later moved to a small hobby farm, where we had a pond to fish in and even more room to hunt and roam around.  This early indoctrination into the outdoors truly set the course for the rest of my life.

Fast forward several years, and my passion to own a piece of farmland pushed me to get a degree in Mechanical Engineering.  I spent a few years in Kansas working for Garmin before the calling of the outdoors lead me to obtain my Ks Real Estate license.  While there, I learned the Land sales ropes from a seasoned old guy who loved to tell you his “Boots on the Ground” motto.  Shortly after, I moved to Iowa, where I took an Engineering position with Agricultural company Pioneer Hybrid Inc. and transferred my Real Estate License here.

Through the years, I have been very blessed to meet and work with numerous clients across Iowa.  I’ve helped farmers who wanted to divest some land to fund retirement, and others who were applying for FSA beginning farmer loans to buy their first piece of property.  Some of my clients have been families looking for a place to build their dream home, and I’ve even worked with a few hardcore bow hunters like myself to find a place to call their own.  I’m honored to have been entrusted with such a significant event in the lives of so many wonderful people.

All along though, it has been my vision to build my own company.  One that would allow me full control to ensure we are helping clients in the most significant way possible.

It has taken years of hard work, but I am proud to have finally launched KILOTERRA; a rural land Brokerage specializing in Iowa Farmland and Hunting Properties.  My mission is to hire the best people, utilize the latest in technology, and put in the hard work necessary to build this company into one of the premier land brokerages in the nation.  I’m excited about the opportunities ahead for us, and hope to serve you soon.
